1. Open e-Nagar website: https://enagar.gujarat.gov.in

Time limit and fee for getting a birth certificate

1. Apply within 7 days: Free
2. After 1 month: Late fee will be applicable
3. Delay beyond 1 year: Approval by SDM or Court is required.

Important Note:

1. Registration is required within 21 days of the child's birth.
2. If you apply after 21 days, you may have to pay a penalty.
3. The same process has to be followed for getting a duplicate certificate.
